I grew up in a small farm town outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba. My childhood presented some challenges, and from a young age my mother instilled in me the power of education and the importance of financial independence. My mom would repeatedly tell my sister and I, that we needed an education, we needed to make our own money, so that we could always stand on our own two feet. 

I did that. I was always ambitious, with a tenacious spirit that landed me my first job at 14, and once I earned my first degree, I dove into the world of sales and marketing, eventually finding my passion and prowess in the tech and IT distribution sector. I found myself navigating the complexities of a male-dominated corporate world, leading with a “do whatever it takes” attitude, it served me well, at the time…

Despite the demands of being a single mother and the sole breadwinner, I relentlessly climbed the corporate ladder, achieving unprecedented success at a young age. My entrepreneurial journey began in earnest when I met Chris, a customer who became a pivotal business partner, leading to the transformation of Xylotek Solutions from the brink of bankruptcy to a multi-million-dollar enterprise. This triumph culminated in a lucrative acquisition by F12.net, marking a significant milestone in my professional life.

However, my accomplishments extend beyond the boardroom. My children, the building of a new family, and overcoming health challenges have all played critical roles in shaping who I am. These personal victories underscore the importance of wellness, resilience, and the unwavering support of loved ones.

Now, as I step into a new chapter, my mission is clear: to empower high-performing professional women to achieve their own balance of success, health, and happiness. My story is a testament to the fact that with determination, support, and a positive mindset, it's possible to overcome any obstacle, achieve remarkable success, and still prioritize what truly matters.
